Emma Inglis brings up her 200th

Congratulations to women's skipper Emma Inglis on her 200th Women's Premier Firsts match when she fronts up for the True Blues in their One Day game against Carlton-Brunswick at Princes Park on Sunday.

This is a huge achievement  which has only been achieved by two female True Blues before her: Julie Calvert played 261 games and Ando Aparo 212.

Emma has had an impressive career which began as a teenager with the Brunswick Park Ladies Cricket Club. In her 133 matches for the Brunswick Park Ladies' Emma amassed 4,080 runs at an average of 38.13. However, her 66 games with the True Blues since 2014 has been more productive and she has added a further 2,330 runs at over 45.

Her 6,341 runs to-date actually make her the second highest runs contributor for the women True Blues with only Julie Calvert (7,369) in front of her. She has a highest score of 180 not out and 10 centuries and 11 fifties to her credit.

Emma is also, of course, known for her quick and reliable hands behind the stumps where she has the distinction of taking 134 catches and 88 stumpings, for 222 dismissals.

She has led the True Blues women with distinction as women's captain since the merger with Brunswick Park Ladies in 2014 and was awarded life membership of the club earlier this year.

Congratulations Emma, we love having you at the True Blues and look forward to your continuing success.
