JM. My first impression was it was really full on and professional. The first training was pretty weird, no one talked all they did was train, but everyone knows who I am now and everyone talks. Turns out they all are pretty good blokes, except wildy (James Wild) when you do something wrong.
CG. What are your ambitions for 2006/07?
JM. At the start of the year it was just to get a game playing premier cricket, now my aim is to do the best I can in the seconds and hopefully hold my spot there. With a bit of luck get some runs.
CG. What are you major interests, if any, outside of cricket?
JM. Well I like going out with my mates, working on my car, having a hit of golf and of course the ladies are a high priority.
CG. Have you showered with any of the other lads yet? If not why not? If so any highlights?
JM. Nah haven’t showered with the lads yet, have showered once but they had all been in and out hahaha. Nah it’s not really my thing showering with a whole lot of guys. Prefer to just shower when I get home
CG. Which, if any, players or support staff you are scared of and why?
JM. Well wildy is pretty scary when you stuff up, he either yells or just stares at you. Schlitts (Neil Schlittler) seems like the angry type as well, although could just be my impression. Everyone else seems pretty normal.
CG. Boxers or briefs?
JM. Boxers, don’t like the feeling of being constricted. Only wear briefs when I’m playing cricket
CG. What is your most memorable moment from October?
JM. This month hasn’t been to exciting, best moment was probably seeing my name in the herald sun for the first time ever.
CG. What is the moment you would most like to forget from October?
JM. Hahaha getting run out from the boundary game 2. I remember my first thought was I had made a diamond duck but then I remembered I faced 1 ball in the over before.
CG.Does life imitate art or does art imitate life?
JM. I have no idea what that statement means??????
CG. That’s alright mate you just worry about your cars and picking up birds!
Thanks for that Jason hopefully all the people reading this at home will have found out a little more about you, although I am sure many of the die hards will stop reading after your answer to the showering question… you have spoken out against a treasured Prahran past time. Thanks again mate! |
