CG: What was your first impression of the club?
MG: First impression is that it's a lot different to what I was used to, more professional, better guys and better cricket and also harder training.
CG: What are your ambitions for 2006/07
MG: Just have a good season with the bat, and learn things along the way.
CG: What are you major interests, if any, outside of cricket?
MG: Going out with mates having a good time, don't mind the odd surf, kicking the footy and meeting some new lady friends.
CG: Have you showered with any of the other lads yet? If not why not? If so any highlights?
MG: Can't say I have showered with any of the other lads yet and don’t think I will haha, A few boys have tried to get me in but I get out of the change rooms quick smart.
CG: Which, if any, players or support staff you are scared of and why?
MG: Well not really scared of anyone, But Im sure later in the season I will start seeing the scary side of blokes. I haven’t dropped any catches off guys bowling yet.
CG: Boxers or briefs?
MG: Depends really, Sometimes I wear boxers sometimes I wear briefs. Doesn’t bother me too much.
CG: What is your most memorable moment from the season so far?
MG: My most memorable moment in the season so far was making my first 50 it was really good, I think become a better batsmen since ive been at Prahran. (Since this interview Marcus has scored his first century with the club)
CG: What is the moment you would most like to forget so far?
MG: The time in pre season training when I wasn’t sure if I was going to play at Prahran or not, But Barry emailed me and Bucky rang me to talk to me about Rangers.
CG: What came first the chicken or the egg?
MG: Ask (Prahran team mate, Michael) Nyary he's the genius.
CG: Cheers Marcus, again another young player who doesn’t shower, what’s going on! What would you do if you played for Victoria or Australia? Oh well, you just keep trying to terrorise those ladies! Good luck in the future. |
