Before a large group of players, supporters and friends of the Prahran Cricket Club at the Toorak Lion function centre, the 2007/08 Presentation Night was held to recognise the achievements of players during the season.
Club Captain Neil Schlittler was the the big winner on the night, winning the award for the 1st XI Batting as well as the David Jukes Medal and the Dav Whatmore Medal.
The AA Horneman Memorial Trophy was awarded to Chris Garcia.
The David Jukes Medal recognises the Club Champion and was presented by the man himself David Jukes, while the AA Horneman Memorial Trophy recognises the person who has given outstanding service to the Club during the season, both on and off the field, and was presented by Club president Ian Crawford.
In the calculation of performances for the David Jukes Medal, Schlittler recorded 807 points to win from Stephen Seymour (678 pts), Cameron Huckett (609 pts), Matthew Harrison (565 pts) and Sam Coates (421 pts). Full Details
For the Dav Whatmore Medal, which this season was decided to the player with the best performances acros all XIs, as recommended by the Cricket Department and approved by the committee, Neil Schlittler won with 807 points from Stephen Seymour (770 pts), James Wild (769 pts), Cameron Huckett (609 pts) and Michael Rosendale (591 pts).
