All-rounder Lachie Bangs has claimed this year's DWN Jukes Medal, while Ellen Williams has gone back-to-back in taking out the Julie Calvert Medal at last Saturday's club awards presentations.

Bangs contributed all year with both bat and ball to post 862 points, 78 clear of Damon Malcolm on 784 points, with Shenuka De Silva finishing third on 634 points.

He played a key role in the middle order throughout the season, with a stand-out 167 against Melbourne in Round 12. His 627 runs were usually entertaining and he also contributed 13 wickets and 7 catches for an outstanding all-round performance.

Ellen Williams, the reigning Calvert Medalist from 2024/25, started the season as captain of the Women's Second XI, but her consistent performances meant that by mid-season she had worked her way up into the Firsts, where her good form continued. Her 717 points meant that she finished 41 points ahead of Olivia Henry in second place with 676 points, and Alice Noakes in third on 646 points.

Henry was also runner-up in the Premier Cricket Una Paisley Medal count, while Noakes tied for first place as the Women's Premier Thirds Player of the Season.

Congratulations to Lachie and Ellen as this year's club champions, and to all other award winners on their season's achievements.
